Senior Project Coordinator Construction / Civil in Athens

We are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator (Construction / Civil) to work for a main contractor in Athens, Greece Job Role: Primary role is to support estimation department in the preparation of technical method statements for submission with our tender submissions Develop, Manage, set up and oversee the preparation of the method statements in coordination with other Department/Firms, potential suppliers and our departments staff and provide technical and managerial advice for Tenders and Projects under execution. Capable to make Technical & Commercial Reviews and Audits of Projects in line with in-house Procedure. Participate in the preparation of technically challenging method statements. Coordinate with various project services including planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, cost control, office engineering, subcontracting, materials management, procurement and IT support services, all in compliance with contractual requirements. Participate in the production of the project close out dossier, including lessons learned and participate in formal reviews of the same Participate in the establishment and monitoring of manpower, including staff and equipment mobilization and demobilization plans. Requirements: Must have a BSc Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering At least 20 years experience with the international construction sector, with a strong mix of site and office exposure. Must be mainly from a main contractor background not consultancy At least 5 years experience as Construction or Project Manager High level analytical and communication skills Excellent organizational skills Good understanding of the management structure and mode of operation Excellent communicator Must be fluent in English Overseas experience essential Competent in heavy civil, railway s, bridges, infrastructure , roads and buildings etc 7000.0000 Speciality: Project Manager.
