Job Description - Security Architect (ISO EP Mobility) (006JZ) Job Description A Security Architect (ISO EP Mobility) - 006JZ Description A The Monsanto Information Security Office seeks an Information Security Architect to join its dynamic and high-performing team.A This position will focus on development of security strategy and direction,A execution against our roadmap, as well as conducting risk assessments and project consulting, and providing security solutions to protect Monsantos critical data and assets across the global IT environment.A A A The focus for this individual will be in the area of mobility and endpoint security. With the innovation and demand in these spaces increasing every day, this position will focus on security strategies and solutions around mobility, endpoint security (Windows 7, Linux, and Macs), as well as VDI, bring your own device, and business needs resulting from the increased consumerization of IT.A This individual will need to be innovative, motivated, and agile to keep pace with these emerging security spaces. A Responsibilities include: Development and execution of security strategies to provide direction and focus of security efforts Partnering with business teams to ensure understanding of and alignment with their objectives Partnering with stakeholders to develop Security Policies and Standards Drive collaboration with IT and business areas and provide security consulting on key projects. Perform Risk Assessments, Vendor Assessments, and documentation of recommendations for our outside collaborators, business partners, and hosting vendors. Ability to execute on a strategy, drive a project, and ensure implementation and transition to operational support Presentations and proposals to management and peers on security direction and recommendations Provide status updates, dashboards, and roadmaps demonstrating progress and valueA Qualifications A Desired skills/experience: Knowledge of mobile devices (e.g. IOS,nAndroid, etc.), mobile device management, and connectivity and authentication integration options Understanding of a variety of endpoint devices, including endpoint security suites Understanding of VDI and virtualization architectures and deployment models Highly technical across a broad range of computing platforms and network protocols Knowledge and/or experience in several or more of the following technologies: Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention, Vulnerability Scanning, Data Loss Prevention, Email Security, Endpoint Security, DNS, Web Content Filtering, SEIM, AV, Certificate Authority, encryption, and application security tools Possess strong presentation skills including development of slides and delivery of content Applied experience with information security policy and standard development and enforcement Experiencing driving a project from the inception of a strategy, definition of requirements, product selection, implementation, and into operational support.A This would include project management and organizational skills Applied knowledge of 3 rd party security architecture models and assessment models Knowledge and experience with Risk Assessment methodologies Strong foundational knowledge of all domains of security Background in Agriculture, Biotechnology, or other industry specific experience a plus Experience in Developing IT security architectures, strategies, and roadmaps Required skills/experience: Expert knowledge of security architecture/designs and requirements development/solutions definition Ability to create and deliver presentations targeted to either end users or senior management Ability to operate in a highly matrixed organization Ability to define the approach for and drive implementation of secure designs and recommendations through risk assessments, project consulting, or project ownership.
