Retention Marketing Operations Analyst

We have been retained by DIRECTV in search of a Retention Marketing Operations Analyst to join them at their El Segundo, California location. This position will be primarily responsible for supporting ongoing existing customer programs with an emphasis on analysis and daily support of the DIRECTV Retention Upgrade and Marketing Operations. This position will be accountable for gathering and documenting business and systems requirements that focus on an existing customer's life cycle, as well as managing/refining business processes that meet projects goals. In addition, the position is responsible for facilitating systems and analysis discussions, becoming the subject matter expert on initiatives and business needs related to Sales & Marketing Operations. The Senior Analyst is expected to work independently activities will include working with Retention and involving cross-functional groups (Sales Operations, IT, Business Analytics, Customer Service, Engineering, etc.) to identify solutions, impacts and enhancements for existing customer projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide analytical support for the Retention and Upgrade Marketing programs and related initiatives by doing the following: Manage the mapping of offers for customers to the appropriate offer based on customer eligibility. Provide daily analysis of program metrics and trends using qualitative and quantitative analysis. Evaluate current business processes and seek opportunities for increased efficiencies. Ensure that current processes are in the best interest of customers and company goals escalate as needed. Communicate program status (to key stakeholders and Sr. Management). Provide project management support by leading or co-leading various internal initiatives. Develop and maintain key project documentation when applicable (project plan, agendas/notes, action item list, business rules/requirements). Communicate project status (to key stakeholders and Sr. Management). Work with third party service providers to complete analysis and improve processes. Coordinate with various internal departments as needed (eg IT, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance, Legal, etc.). Facilitate meetings as needed and proactively work action items. Must be able to take ownership of projects from beginning to end and ensure on-going success once they become operational. This position manages direct reports and is responsible for ensuring the continuous development and improvement for individuals and their work products. Conduct audits of customer accounts to ensure automated processes are working as designed. Provide detailed reports of audit results and recommendations for process and offer improvements. Support Retention Marketing Operations team by providing reporting necessary for program and budget management QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree with minimum 7 to 10 years relevant experience (Program Analysis, Reporting, multi-disciplinary Project Management, etc.) required. Proficiency in MS Office applications including advanced skills in MS Excel/Access (ie database management applications and SQL) and working experience with various reporting applications (eg Cognos or others). Strong problem solving and analytical skills, including a qualitative and quantitative skill set. Experienced in making appropriate recommendations based on project goals and objectives. Leadership qualities, including meeting facilitation, time management, organizational skills and ability to influence others. Demonstrated success managing teams work effectively with business and technical managers. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and design appropriate solutions. Ability to accommodate change and adapt accordingly. Experience with public speaking and presentation skills. Proficiency in standard MS Office applications.
