Quality Control Inspector: Source Inspection for Aerospace suppliers

ASR International Corporation, an ISO 9001-2008 certified company and assessed at SEI CMMI Level 3 have request for a Contract Quality Control inspector for aerospace supplier locations across Europe as mentioned below. Multiple openings exist for upcoming source inspections at below mentioned supplier locations.



Openings exist in the following inspection disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Composites and Interiors.



Available Locations:

Europe – Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Germany, Poland, Sweden, United Kingdom, Spain



Qualification:

Minimum four (4) years experience in quality background in the aerospace/aviation industry

Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings and specifications

Inspection of mechanical parts and assemblies; composites and interiors chemical compounds and mixtures; or related experience commensurate with work responsibilities.

Strong background in mechanical inspections is a must

Experience with mechanical inspection tools and good report writing skills

Ability to read and write in English



Responsibilities include:

In-Process inspection such as the verification of identification, laboratory acceptance of raw materials

Inspect in-house fabricated and supplier hardware for conformance to specification tolerance utilizing any required gages and special equipment.

Operate non-destructive testing/inspection (NDT Certification) such as ultrasonic, eddy current, magnetic particle, penetrant and leak detection.

Work in accordance with quality control standards and instructions and prepares documentation, i.e., appropriate stamps and related tags as required.

May use handling devices and operate handling equipment to support inspection.

Perform process electrical inspection.
