Job description:

A Syrian sms copywriter works in a creative partnership with the campaign manager to conceive develop and produce effective sms messages for mobile marketing campaigns. While the campaign manager deals mainly with the concept definition, it is the copywriter’s task to compose fun and persuasive texts (within the constraints of an sms message) that will maximise participation in each campaign. The copywriter needs to be able to establish a virtual dialogue with the participants and convey the feeling that the campaign is live and that each participant is addressed individually.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The tasks of a copywriter can vary depending upon the type of the campaign. The typical work activities of the sms copywriter will include:

• meeting with the campaign management team to discuss client requirements and background to the campaign

• creating storylines and ideas

• writing clear, persuasive and original messages, in a very limited space (160 characters)

• carefully proofreading to check spelling and grammar

• keeping up to date with popular culture and trends

Job Requirements:

• Native Syrian

• High level in English

• Higher level education in advertising, copywriting or marketing

• Creative, fun, outgoing character – witty

• In touch with current affairs, society, popular culture

• Characterized by productivity, creativity and organization skills

• Good computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint

• Able to relocate in Greece for 3 months
