PART TIME JOB OFFERING- Location Travel Coordinator - Athens and the Cyclades Islands

SnoworSand is a Los Angeles based travel company that specializes in academic, cultural and adventure travel to international destinations. The core product of SnoworSand is three to seven day trips for small groups of eight to twenty people. Our mission is to provide university students and young professionals with unique travel experiences that build character, confidence and enhanced worldviews.

SnoworSand is seeking a driven young professional to fill the location travel coordinator (LTC) position in Athens and the Islands. The Athens and the Islands

LTC will be responsible for coordinating and guiding weekend travel packages for students and young professionals that feature major tourist attractions. They will also be tasked with exposing travelers to “off-the-beaten-track” experiences, people, places and events. Specific, in-depth knowledge of Athens and the Islands will be necessary to expose travelers to the subtleties of the local culture, history and people. We distinguish ourselves from other travel companies with “cookie-cutter” tours because our local guides treat our student and young professional travelers as if they were close friends and family. They must gauge the unique interests, styles and behaviors of each group and customize the trip accordingly. As a result, it’s necessary to be creative, flexible and outgoing, all while maintaining leadership and control to ensure our travelers remain healthy and safe.

In addition to guiding trips, the LTC will also be responsible for marketing weekend trips to other SnoworSand destinations across Europe by establishing relationships with universities, academic organizations, and other hospitality-related locations frequented by students and young professionals.

Ambitious LTCs can expect to earn between $1,200 to $3,200 USD per month on a part time basis, with excellent potential for growth.

Qualifications include completion or current enrollment of a four-year university program or bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Candidates must be fluent in English and the local language of their country. Candidates must be ambitious, outgoing, independent and able to demonstrate leadership skills.
