JOB DESCRIPTION:

* We are currently seeking a technical consultant to participate in banking implementation projects consisting of both new development and support activities involving both on-site and off-shore teams, as well as third party resources

* Reporting to the Team Leader responsible for the specific project

* You will be based in Athens and on a project basis to different Eastern European counties for variable periods of time

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

* Develop programs as per specifications/requirements given by oracle/customer within planned schedule. He/she must use defined standards/tools/processes to achieve deliverable that meet quality expectations of oracle/client.

* Document all work in accordance with agreed standards/processes applicable for oracle/customer.

* Adhere to defined Change Control Process of oracle/customer. Comply with oracle/customer audit/compliance requirements.

* Ensure quality code delivery.

* Perform proper handover/knowledge transfer at end of each assignment.

* Timely status reporting to oracle supervisor.

* Timely submission of timesheets for oracle/customers.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

* Degree in Computer Science

* Up to 2 years of experience in PL/SQL development

* Knowledge of Java related technologies will be considered a plus

* Good English communication skills

* High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment

* Ability to work in a high pressure, fast moving and challenging environment

* Team player
