JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking junior functional consultants to participate in banking implementation projects. The role will be based in Greece but you will travel on a project basis to various Eastern European countries for variable periods of time. You will report to a Team Leader but also work with on-site and off-shore teams, as well as third party resources. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated and ambitious individuals to develop a career in the Financial Software industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

* Execute tests/analyse defects and document test results. Ensure test plans are completely traceable to Requirements to ensure completeness.

* Participate in requirements walkthrough together with other members of project team

* Assist the development team (oracle/customer) to gain good understanding of the requirements.

* Issue tracking and resolution (as assigned) pertaining to the project.

* Comply with oracle/customer audit/compliance requirements.

* Flexibility to move to new assignment, technology, projects.

* Ensure work is completed within agreed schedule (deadline).

* Document all work in accordance with agreed standards/processes applicable for oracle/customer.

* Adhere to defined Change Control Process of oracle/customer.

* Perform proper handover/knowledge transfer at end of the assignment.

* Timely status reporting to oracle supervisor.

* Timely submission of timesheets for oracle/customers.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

* Degree in IT or Financials

* Strong knowledge of IT /Software with up to 2 years of experience in software implementation projects

* Knowledge of the banking sector / products will be considered a plus

* Knowledge / Experience in PL/SQL development, Oracle Development Tools is preferred.

* Good English communication skills

* Must be flexible to travel and work offshore for extensive periods

* High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment

* Ability to work in a high pressure, fast moving and challenging environment

* Team player
