Greek Insurance Claims Manager – Manchester / Chester / Stafford with frequent travel to Athens!

SRG have been appointed to recruit for a Greek Insurance Claims Manager to work for a growing organisation with new offices opening in Athens. Ideally the candidate will be able to work from the Chester or Stafford Office, but the company will consider candidates living in London or elsewhere in the UK, where they would mostly work from home. The successful candidate will be required to spend at least one week per month in Athens.

Candidate Responsibilities

• Audits of claims handling performance with a focus on personal injury claims
• Monitoring of claims reserves
• Training delivery
• Production of management information
• Analysis of MI and production of monthly reports for the Enterprise board
• Review meetings with partners
• Monitoring of performance via remote access to claims handling systems.
• Referral point for claims handling partners
• Preparation of material for reinsurers

Candidate Skills

• Self motivated - the role will involve working from home
• Strong inter personal skills
• Fluent Greek speaker
• Analytical, solution-based approach and able to think out of the box
• High degree of flexibility, prepared to travel and work abroad
• An understanding of insurance claims processes
• Experienced claims handler including personal injury claims
• ACII or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Report writing skills
• Technical audit experience
• Understanding of Greek litigation
