Individual required for a world leading financial service sector firm for the role of European Pre Sales Consultant. Your role will be to work on a project by project basis as a Pre Sales Consultant for a world leading core banking solutions firm. Essential skills: experience working within the banking sector (retail/consumer/investment/corporate) in an operational or functional capacity in the Front, Middle or Back Offices of a bank. Knowledge of one or more of Treasury, payments, capital markets, trade finance, reconciliations, accounting systems, equity, loans and repayments, derivatives etc. Any banking systems knowledge.

Desirable skills and experience: any knowledge of Oracle databases, Java technologies, Core banking systems.
Any language skills are a massive bonus, ie French, German, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Swedish, Portuguese etc.
Ability to learn new technologies and process quickly. The role will be permanently based from London.

Responsibilities: perform functional requirement gathering working closely with business. Performing Back End functions, communicating requirements and providing Front End functions working closely with the sales team. Presenting the product, including expert demonstrations. Acting as client liaison along side the sales team.
