Buisness Development Manager

Job Description: The Company:

Due to significant growth, our client are now seeking applications for the position of Business Development Manager based in Greece, reporting to the Head of Merchant Sales. This challenging role will involve assisting Global Business Development initiatives for Global Merchants, Acquiring Banks and Partners. You will gain experience of the entire sales process from prospecting, cold calling, presenting & selling Dynamic Currency Conversions, EPOS Systems, Payment Solutions right through to contract signing until handover to the project team.

The role presents great potential to the right candidate to further a career in global business development.

The Role:

Meeting preparation

Attend meetings with Head of Merchant Sales

Meeting follow-ups

Take ownership of new market initiatives

Develop a full understanding of all business propositions being made across the Business Development Group and assist in the assembly of bespoke business responses

Support global business development and team projects as required

Skills Required:: The Person:

Motivated to develop a career in Global Business Development

Excellent customer management skills

Understanding of key principles of Currency Conversion

Ability to work in a diverse environment

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Willingness to travel for work as necessary

Computer literate

Experience in merchant services, card acquiring, payment solutions

The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to Greece, a fluent knowledge of the Greek & English language is essential.
