Accountancy/Finance staff from the Film/TV industry required for client-facing software role - Los Angeles, California, US Salary: Maximum US 85,000 plus benefits package THE COMPANY AND SITUATION OVERVIEW: The world leader in software systems for the music and entertainment industry requires those experienced in accountancy/finance from within the Film or TV industry to undertake a client-facing role relating to their software products aimed at that sector. This would suit someone who perhaps desires a change from a pure accounting job and would enjoy using their existing accountancy/finance experience in a very different role. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: The experience required for this role is as follows: - At least 5 years real-world experience working in Accountancy or Finance specifically in the film or TV industry - Good communication skills, very articulate - Flexibility as regards travel: This is a mobile role travelling up to a third of the time, including internationally. Please note the above criteria are essential: You require all of the above to be eligible for this role. Desirable, but not essential, are either of the following: - Experience in a software implementation project - Previous experience in royalties or participations  THE JOB: ARE YOU BORED WITH ACCOUNTANCY/FINANCE? This is a VERY client-facing role and you will be the first point of contact for 80% of the company's clients. You will essentially be the face of the company, so we need someone who will LISTEN, hear what the client is telling you and document it accurately. Initially you don't need to understand or solve incoming support issues, just to listen, sympathise and record. This is absolutely critical to the role. THE OPPORTUNITY: Here, your career progression is determined solely by your own performance in the role. In this position, the intention is for you to learn the business, the software and the customers. Once that is achieved, you can then move up to the next level where you will hold responsibility for an application and answering support queries, being the industry expert on that product and being a team member on implementation projects.
